Overview

Ronchini Gallery is pleased to present Wizards of Omaha, a solo exhibition of new works by the ultra contemporary Thai artist Channatip Chanvipava, curated by Marisa Bellani. Opening on 10th September, the exhibition follows on from Chanvipava’s recent shows at Dimora Ai Santi in Venice organised by Roman Road (The Sound of Many Waters, 2024) and MONTI8 in Latina (Spirit Unravelled, 2023) in which autobiographical themes linked to identity were explored. This new body of work delves deeper into Chanvipava’s acceptance of his past, resulting in a series of profoundly personal paintings that intertwine the artist’s history, experiences and beliefs in courage, patience, and hope.
